OUR MISSION
The mission statement of the Champaign County Home Visitor Task Force is to build a system of care that will support at-risk children and their families through collaboration and coordination of services.
The Champaign County Home Visitor Task Force will work together to create seamless, unduplicated home visiting services in Champaign County that support the delivery of early care, developmental, and educational services for pregnant women and children from birth to age 5 through home visitation services.

GOVERNANCE, STAFFING, & FUNDING
The Champaign County Home Visiting Consortium is made up of representatives from the 8 home visiting programs in Champaign County. The consortium meets monthly to discuss openings, updates from programs, referrals, professional development, etc. The Champaign Home Visiting Consortium is not funded. We have worked together to create a coordinated system of referring families to programs that ensure best fit.
COLLABORATION ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- The Consortium conducts monthly screening events to assist with referrals into the Home Visiting programs as well was supporting Child Find for Early Intervention.
- The Consortium has implemented a coordinated referral system.
- The Consortium has instituted a "no wrong door" policy to ensure families are placed into whichever home visiting program fits their needs best.
